Well I Got Another RV DRV LX455

Well, guys, I wish I could say I bought this bad boy under better circumstances.

Due to horrible family issues, my wife and I decided to buy a house on wheels to put in our barn.

So now, of all people, the hay hauler has many questions for heavy haulers.

My poor 2016 RAM 2500 G56 and 2018 AEV.

Are they up to the task?

We went out and bought a DRV LX455 Full House, which is fantastic; we can live in it full-time.

Sometimes, I think that no matter how bad things get in life, there is a silver lining, and God protects good ones.

Sorry for the ramble, guys; I am just looking for insight on if the two cummins trucks we got are up to the task.

We are not hauling this camper around the States as we have another camper, but if you all think it's possible to have airbags on my 2500, let me know.

I welcome any insight on this camper and its weight, which is 19,685 dry, GVWR 24K, and a Hitch 3,560 TRIPLE axle.

That would be about maxing out my 21 3500 H.O. DRW.

I wouldn’t want to pull that with the 2500.

Congratulations on the new fifth wheel.

It's a big rig with a hefty pin weight of 3,560 lbs.

Yeah, I may need to do an upgrade truck-wise at some point.

The good thing is that once we get it in place, I don't intend to move it for a while or at all.

So get this, guys. My hauler showed up yesterday, and here I am expecting a 5500.

Well, to my surprise, it was a 4th Gen 2500 Cummins.

I said look at what I am driving (RAM 2500).

Do you think you can make this happen, LOL?

He said boss, I have pulled 20k with this truck, and I am unsure I replied, and I respect confidence and *****, which the majority of society lacks nowadays.

I slapped him on the back and said, " let's rock and roll, " thinking he may get killed or I may never see this thing again.

I reminded him I hoped he had good insurance, but he had this.

Well, he delivered 700-something miles.

I am not saying a RAM 2500 is supposed to touch this thing, but how in the world did he pull it off? He said it drove great through the mountains, and yes, without airbags, it was all stock.
