2 Cycle Marine Oil For Pump Lubrication?

I know there is ultra-low Sulphur fuel.

Does anyone add marine 2-cycle oil to their fuel?

I have a pal with a 01 Cummins; he has been doing it for years.

    Maybe a qt per tank.

He gets the marine stuff from Walmart.

    Any opinions?

I do use Hotshots ED additive.

    I have been for years.

I haven't tried it, but I added the recommended amount of Archoil AR6500 treatment with every tank.

Anyway you peaked my interest with your post and, I found the links below helpful.

    I have a 95 F250 with big fuel.

New Aliant AC codes with full-force diesels and 100% nozzles (180/100's).

Irate diesel performance T-4 mount with a Borg Warner S364.5 SXE.

Irate competition fuel system, South Bend DD3250, and much more.

I have been adding a quart of transmission fluid to every fill-up.

    It smoothes out the engine.

I use whatever fluid I can find the cheapest at Wally World.

    The truck just hit 315000.

Mods have been on for over 200000.
