MM3 Tuning - Failed To Write ECM?

So, I bought an MM3 tuner for my 2020 RAM 3500 HO DRW, and when I tried to download the tune, I failed to write ECM.

The batteries are good, and the unlock cable is connected.

    I don't know why it's not writing.

It has downloaded as much as 43%; then I get the reading that says failed.

Did I get a faulty tuner that won't work, or is it something with my truck?

The truck also keeps showing up on the radio with the message "Enter your anti-theft code."

I enter it, and it goes away, so I'm unsure if that has any relevance.

If I go with another company's tuner, can I plug that in and try tuning it, or is my ecm now messed up because it has attempted to download the files multiple times?

If anyone has had this problem, please help get me in the right direction.

    Thank you.

I doubt the ecm is messed up.

Try connecting a battery charger while you download the tunes.

It sounds like your batteries are pulling down quickly, causing it to stop downloading.

These trucks love and need the juice.

Mine did the same thing until I hooked it up to a charger.

Actually, I ran jumper cables from the lady's car while running.

Then I had the flash successful.

Thanks; you guys appreciate the responses.

I read some forums that said the batteries needed around 12.6V or higher.

Mine had a small battery charger hooked up, but it wasn't enough.

I hooked up my wife's SUV to it, which then downloaded everything successfully.

I had to hook a jump box to one battery and a truck with jumper cables to the other and wait to see around 13v, and then it could load.
