Yes, you can download the free service manual for your 2008 from https://www.igotacummins.com/manuals...e%20Manual.pdf
See attached page 8W-18-2 from the service manual below.
Fuse #11, 20amp.
2014 RAM 3500 (Aisin) 3.73 4X4 Limited Crew Cab Long Bed DRW. Oil Bypass Filter, Fuel Filtration Kit, Cold Air Intake, City Diesel Actuator and 50 Gallon Aux Fuel Tank.
Awesome.
I didn't know that was available.
We should put a reminder out about that in case others are as oblivious as I am!
So I'm trying to figure out which wire to test for hot coming out of the bottom of TIPM that comes from fuse 11, or is it C9?
The wire you are looking for is 18 gauge, grey, with a red stripe on pin #5 on connector C9 at the TIPM.
If you have difficulty finding or repairing the open in the wire, as a last resort, you could do a "bypass" and run your own circuit from the battery positive to pin #16 of the datalink connector.
Use 18 gauge wire with a 20 amp fuse inline.
