Good day, everyone.

I have read many posts regarding batteries, as I'm in the market for some for my 12.

I have some Napa legend AGMs/(East Penn) from October 2019.

They are still holding, but I have had to charge them often, and my truck has been sitting in the garage for the last two winters.

I have noticed that with these AGM batteries, they don't like short trips.

They want the truck to be driven to keep the batteries charged.

But the quality of the battery's not very good these days.

My best batteries were Cat group 65 batteries/(Deka-East Penn) in my old Powerstroke.

I would get about five years out of them in the desert, and they were not AGM.

This current set from Napa has done ok but has had to live on the battery maintainer, and I've caught them many times right above that critical point and thrown the charger on because my truck sits a lot.

My charging system is working correctly.

I'm just trying to find a quality battery, if anyone is wondering.

I was going to go with the X2, but some on this forum have exhibited problems, and I don't believe it's the trucks; I think it's the battery.

I'm at the point where I'm just going to buy some Walmart ever-start platinum's for 360 for both and call it a day.

Spending all this money on batteries and having failure still is not feasible.

I have learned that AGM batteries need to be maintained, checked, and watched in cold weather.

I believe that's why my current set has lasted almost five years.

Any battery suggestions would be great.

One thing I look for is availability in case of a warranty.
