    Possible Boost Leak?

So, here's a little back story: The truck is a 2017 RAM 3500 that DRD deleted.

It's been deleted for close to two years.

I have deleted the grid heater over the winter.

So, in a normal drive, the boost looks normal, and there are no unusual noises.

When we pull our camper home from storage, when the pressure rises above, let's say, 15 psi and greater, it sounds like a hissing noise coming from the engine bay.

It has no problem of making boost.

Question: Is that noise standard after deleting a grid heater?

    There isn't any lost power.

The hissing sound after a grid heater delete is not normal.

I would pressure test the intake air system and check for leaks.

After work, I pressured the system.

I found the boot on the cold side of the intercooler that was attached to the horn was leaking between the clamps.

    Thanks, AK Bob.
