    Coolant Leak?

Has anyone ever encountered the issue of their truck losing coolant one year after replacing the headgasket?

I’m not sure if it is in the oil yet or not.

I will change the oil and get an analysis done.

Head was done with Cummins gasket and ARP 625s.

They have a kit that can detect a head gasket leak and snap onto the radiator cover.

I haven't used one yet, but it changes colors in the sample tube if it detects gases in the coolant system.

Just because it's losing fluid doesn't quite mean it's another head gasket failure.

It could be a simple leak in a coolant hose, radiator, or head studs that need retorque.

See the link below for the combustion test kit.

Do you still have the EGR cooler attached?

I’m pretty sure there’s coolant in the oil.

I have the exhaust gas test kit, and the last time I checked, it was good, I will test again.

With coolant in the oil, the only two options I can thank are HG or an oil cooler to get coolant in the oil.

No, weight loss has been done 4 years ago.
