I replaced all the injectors, and it still blows white smoke and sputtering when I get over 2000 RPM.
I have no idea what to do.
Hey all, I installed new injectors, which didn't solve the problem.
She's still blowing white smoke when you rev it up; it idles fine, but it starts blowing the white smoke when it gets above 2000 rpm.
HELP!
I'm done throwing money at it; I must find the cause.

Head gasket?

Initially, you had mentioned smelling raw fuel at the tailpipe; this was a good indication of leaking injectors.
Do you still smell the raw fuel with the new injectors?
The white smoke can also be caused by coolant in the combustion chamber.
Do you have any coolant loss? Is the oil level increasing, or are you seeing any milky residue in the oil?
Are there any signs of a possible head gasket leak, like coolant bubbles in the reservoir?
The EGR cooler could leak into the exhaust if you still have it in place.
To check this, disconnect the EGR crossover tube and inspect it for any signs of coolant.
A coolant system combustion test must be performed to test for a bad head gasket.

To do a redneck check, remove the oil cap with the truck running, flip the cap over, and place it over the hole; if it's trying to blow off, "not rattle off, " you have excess blowby, which leans towards a bad head gasket.

I did the head gasket tests, which are negative.
We're noticing that the lift pump seems to be running intermittently.
Would that cause the same symptoms?
The intermittent lift pump operation must be repaired, but I would be surprised if it resulted in white smoke.
If anything, it should result in less flow to the CP3, causing the fuel rail pressure to lower at a higher RPM and delivering less fuel to each cylinder.

That's what it is doing.
The line pressure and rail pressure are way off.
If it's calling for 10-15000, it's only getting 2000 or less at times.
It doesn't even sound like the lift pump is kicking on.
The lift pump isn't getting power from the fuse box, and we can't narrow down where to start.
It sounds like a pinched wire is cutting the power to the lift pump.
