    5th Gen Head Stud Install?

I am thinking about head studs and heard there's no valve lash adjustment with the hydraulic valvetrain.

I want to confirm that, other than keeping the parts in the correct orientation, there's nothing to do after they're bolted back on the 5th Gens.

Studs are on my to-do list.

Also, from my quick research, you can swap them one at a time.

I'm not endorsing Xotic head studs, but this video has some helpful information.

Ya, that was the plan for sure.

All the vids show 4th Gen and below with valve adjustment at the end.

5th Gens, however, there's nothing out there showing the process on video or even a write-up with valve reinstall.

Wondering if they just get bolted back on and torqued with nothing else.

That appears to be the case, hopefully some of our 5th Gen owners will chime in.

I bit the bullet and ordered some ARP 625s, so I'll report back afterward.

Because 5th Gens have hydraulic lifters, there's no valve lash to be set.

    The hydraulic part auto adjusts.

    Stud that sucker and go!

As unofficial as this sounds, this is the most direct instruction I've found!
