Thread: DRD Tune - Pedal Commander - Left Tail Light?

DRD Tune - Pedal Commander - Left Tail Light?

I have been running my DRD tune for a while in my 2018 RAM 3500 with extreme weight loss success, but I have a couple of questions.

It does have the Aisin, so wanna get that out in front, but it seems like I have a lag that I’d like to get rid of if possible.

Would pedal commander help, or do I need to do something different?

I only run the SOTF tunes on 0 or 1 in the setup.

Daily driving, should I be using a different level?

I usually pull my skid steer in the 0 setting (recall being stock plus 30).

Any input or ideas are appreciated.

I also have times when I start the truck, the left rear turn signal will indicate out, and then less than a minute later, it’s normal.

I have also got in the truck on a night and started it, then the headlights go out, and the left rear turn signal is out.

    Then all goes normal.

Do I need an update or something, or am I missing something?

I appreciate any help you can provide.

I haven’t experienced any lag with my 2014 Aisin, but hopefully, others who have will chime in with recommendations.

The issues with your lights could be an intermittent ground issue.

I recommend a full system scan of all modules to see if you have any active or stored trouble codes.

2014 RAM 3500 (Aisin) 3.73 4X4 Limited Crew Cab Long Bed DRW. Oil Bypass Filter, Fuel Filtration Kit, Cold Air Intake, City Diesel Actuator and 50 Gallon Aux Fuel Tank.

Re: DRD Tune - Pedal Commander - Left Tail Light?

    Thank you.

That’s why I wondered if I was missing something that needed an update or did some data logging.

Well, I did that, ruling out the grounding issue at this point; it only does it in start-up and never while driving.

It is almost like a “booting up” process that is skipped and then finally catches up
