Cold Start Concerns? (2nd Gen Turbo Swap)

    I have a 16 RAM 2500 with a 2nd Gen turbo swap.

On cold starts (30-40 degree temps), the truck starts with a cloud of white smoke that lasts up to a minute, depending on how cold it is, and a lobe for the first few seconds.

It’s only the first start of the day that it happens.

No other smoke or drivability issues.

Would a failing inspector be suspect here?

Unburnt fuel due to a leaky injector is a good possibility.

Also, check for any coolant loss.

Does the white smoke smell like fuel?
