RevMax Valve Body?
I got the P0871 code.
Everyone said valve body, so I overnighted the RevMax HD/towing valve body and solenoid pack, filter, and pan.
I’m going to install it today, but my question is: Since I already have a DRD trans tune with a little raised pressure, do I have to get a retune right away?
The truck is a 2018 RAM 2500.
You will want to take advantage of that new VB from RevMax.
I love mine, and the 225PSI crisps up the shifts.
Have fun installing the parts!

Unless you got the tuneless version, you'll want a retune.
You can drive with the new VB, but you'll want the relearn to be started after installation.
This is where the tune comes into play, with new shift points, increased line pressures, TCC lockups, and other measures to adapt to the new VB.

I might throw in the valve body, do the relearn, and then consider a new trans tune because Ray doesn't do retunes on deleted trucks anymore.
