68RFE Trans Line Pressure While Cruising?

Hey guys, I'm a long time lurker and a first-time poster.

I noticed this morning that my line pressure while cruising would drop to 70psi for DLP and ALP.

It has always been 110psi in the past. DLP and ALP are within a few psi and will still hit 170 psi.

Any idea what may be going on?

The transmission temperature was around 150 F.

The ambient temperature was -9 F.

Are there different line pressure maps for colder weather?

I have the same thing happening.

I first noticed and asked about it last year, and it started doing it again this week with the latest cold snap.

It must be expected for at least a few of us.

    Thanks for the response.

After making the post, I drove around 150 miles, and it never dropped like that again.

The ambient temperature was in the 20s at that point.
