I'm pretty excited I broke the 20 mark. With steep climbs, 35" mud tires, a bunch of mud still hanging out on the undercarriage and running my 500hp tune

Everyone of my diesel trucks got better fuel economy running higher torque/hp tunes. As long as you watch the temperature gauges and let off if something is starting run too hot one can run a fairly aggressive tune on the street. Even better would be to speak with your tuner and ask for a fuel economy tune...something with lots of fuel advance but mild hp characteristics might be worth while experimenting with.
Mild mods and some tuning sure help the 6.7 perform like an old 12V 5.9 when it comes to fuel economy. Killing that "4th" injection event sure helps! STUPID engineers!!!
I wrote to Edge and asked them about their MPG tune. Turns out they cannot legally say the highest tune is best for MPG. Yes the 4th injection is a pig. Actually we only need one. The rest is a waste
2003- 3500 RWD Automatic. S & B intake, BD Intercooler, Pusher Air Horn, MM3 Double R Tuning, Turbo Timer, electric Flex-a-lite fans, FASS 95, 50 HP tips, upgrade to 351 turbo, 3.42 gears, Twin air compressors, air bags, Remote dual oil filters, Hellwig sway bar, Front Winch. Home made Fuel Heater, BD Exhaust brake with Torque Lock. Tons of TLC
Really depends on how the multiple events are used. The right tuner can use tho multiple events to squeeze more power, with less heat than a single event. Granted the pilot is just to smooth the engine out
I think I'll ask the terrorist. Maybe he can kill the injection stroke in the Edge

I've heard of a few companies that could do custom tuning on edge programmers
Yeah But I know this guy for a long time. Actually kind of scary.

Oh if the terrorist can do it, I'd def go thru him. Was just saying I've heard it's possible, just don't know what all is entailed
I started a thread for him. we'll see
Not to sure with the Juice because the tune is basically in the chips. The signals are modified. It's not a programmer. However, on the 5.9 it plugs in between the the injectors.
