    2012 RAM 2500 - Rear Sway Bar?

Do I go with the Hellwig 7710 or the 7272 beefier sway bar in the rear?

It's a street truck with no offroading tows 8k lb boat during summer.

I have the Carli Backcountry Fox shocks on there.

Only the rear has the sway problem.

    Stock, one doesn't have one.

Couple of questions to consider before throwing parts on the rig.

Does sway remain with higher air pressure?
What is your tire load index? Should be 121 or higher.
What does the leaf spring and bushing look like? Any cracks or large gaps?
    How do the shackles look?
Are all the bolts tight in the rear?
How much tongue weight does the boat have?
Does it sway loaded or unloaded?

To answer your question directly, our truck has the 7272 and primarily added it for an in bed camper at 3k. Sway was reduced, but not as much as I would have liked.

Re: 2012 RAM 2500 - Rear Sway Bar?

I have the 5-add pack leaf on the rear and the bushings suitably.

I used the term sway, but it doesn't handle a race car like I want, LOL.

The front has Thuren sway and everything imaginable added, so the front handles great.

I think adding any sway bar to my rear can help.

Every dang truck has one but mine, LOL.

The 7710 is cheaper than the 7272.

I dont want to stiffen the rear too much with the 7272.

Your ride was unloaded with 7272.
