    Drag Link Bar Damaged?

I went to get an alignment done the other day, and the shop turned my drag link bar and caused it to rub on the track bar bracket bolt.

My question is, will the damage impact anything with the drag link based on the pics?

FYI, the shop plans to give me a check for a replacement, but I'm debating whether I even bother buying a new one.

If it's just cosmetic, then Merry Xmas for my son? LOL.

However, if the damage somehow impacts stability or safety or drivability (it feels like it drives fine), then I will replace the whole bar.

If that is all the damage caused, I would not replace it.

Yes, it dug away a bit at the Synergy bar, and I told them that they needed to offer a replacement since the bar was not in that state when I brought it to them, and it was a direct result of their technician's negligence.

    They agreed.

It's not that I NEED a new one, but it's the principle

    Oops I missed this question.

    It seems completely fine.

This is the bar in the correct position to which I had them put it back.

Also, you can see the track bar bolt wear on the head that the bar was hitting in the attached pics.

Well, then, that’s just a cosmetic issue.

I would leave it in place if it was mine, take their money, and get some Christmas presents.

Honestly, that's what I was thinking.

As long as it's cosmetic and doesn't somehow impact the integrity and stability of the bar, then I'm good.
