This is during a cold start; temperatures are around 30-40 degrees Fahrenheit first thing in the morning.

Using remote start, the truck starts fine, then tries to go into high idle and begins to surge and blow black/blue smoke from the exhaust.

No codes or anything are presented. It does not do it if I manually put it into high idle through the steering wheel.

Has a RaceME tuner and no other modifications other than weight loss.

Once it is warmer after going down the road, it doesn’t do it anymore; it has a slight surge in RPM, but not like the initial start-up.

I have a video I am going to try and attach to show symptoms.

Any advice would be appreciated; thank you.

Thats crazy; I would start with fuel pressure actual vs desired to see if they track together and match up.

If they look good, do the same with VGT actual vs desired.

Try to narrow it down to a fuel or turbo issue.
