    Alternator Recommendations?

After load testing my system (testing batteries independently, then charging system), it looks like my alternator is on its way out.

Does anyone have any recommendations for alternators?

    Thank you!

I would stick with an OEM alternator.

I use the OEM as well.

I don't have a lot of electronics that require the need for a bigger alternator.

Typical interior\exterior lights, 40" light bar, onboard air, and I have replaced it once.

I replaced my OEM unit with the XDP alternator.

The extra power output for charging my camper batteries while driving is excellent.

    The black finish is excellent.

A little over 1.5 years of use with no issues.

    - Happy to be on the food chain at all.

    Thank you all!

    I'm weighing the options now.

I know OEM is usually higher build quality; I have trouble spending more for less performance.

I'll post it once I replace it!

I'm with W/S, OE, be a Denso unit. Denso is top-notch stuff.

It's the Delco of Japan but even better quality.

Find Denso on Amazon at reasonable prices.

There are no cores to return, and you can probably install a set of brushes on the stock unit and have a good spare for emergencies.

You can do brushes by just removing the rear plastic cover.
