Track Bar Bushing - Is This OK?

I was looking for the sound of creaking and noticed it was the track bar bushing.

I also noticed what MIGHT BE a hairline crack on the mount, but I wanted to post and ask here.

    Is this OK?

    Dangerous?

Needing attention soon or not at all?

I'm trying to remember if your truck is lifted.

It almost looks like someone's scabbed on an extension piece.

Maybe that's how they come; I don't remember.

Oh wait, I think I remember now what they looked like before the brace was installed.

My guess is you have an open recall.

It has a 4" pro comp lift and an aftermarket adjustable track bar.

I also thought the looks were welded on a piece, but I haven't seen any others to have the visual recollection.

Do you know anything about said recall or brace I can look into?

    I bet Bob would know.

I am pretty sure this is it, actually, for reference.

Yes, you found the recall notice that I remember seeing.

That’s a crappy-looking weld; I would check with your local dealership for the repair.

If I remember correctly, the recall is something along the lines of how bad a weld is.

Then, replace the bracket and install the brace; if the welds look good, install the brace.

Ok, I was a welder and fabricator for years, and there appear to be two cracks in that photo.

One just outside the tempering zone on the second weld and another where the weld on the top is beginning to separate from the material.

    Can this be confirmed?

This should be welded on the back side if possible, and another plate should be placed on the front side and welded along the edges for reinforcement.

You better get that fixed ASAP under the recall.

That looks cracked to me in two places.
