    2022 RAM Tuning - Autoenginuity?

    Good afternoon.

    I've read through everything, I think.

    I located and purchased a 4384696 ecm, the exhaust, and EGR parts, and now I'm about to buy the Autoenginuity tool and software.

    My question is, the Autoenginuity website says: "PLEASE NOTE: Due to Chrysler's addition of a Security Gateway starting in MY18, vehicles that have it installed will require you to get a separate license to be allowed to perform advanced features like clearing DTCs, actuations, and system tests."

    Is this separate license also needed besides the scanner/software package?

    Once I order this, I will buy the MM3/Warp tuning package.

    All I needed was the enhanced Chrysler software option.

    No additional license was needed.

    I have heard the Autoenginuity may not be needed anymore as MM3 has improved the process.

    Is there any truth to this?

    I was able to swap ECMs and tune the truck.

    During the flash process, all sorts of lights flashed for stability, ABS, etc.

    That all cleared up after it finished.

    I removed the EGR system and throttle valve but ran out of daylight to do the exhaust.

    I went for a short drive, and all seemed well.

    Exhaust DPF and all sensors for it are still plugged in, so I am not out of the woods yet, but it seems the Autoenginuity was unnecessary for me.

    The only concern so far is that the DEF gauge is reading half what it was before the tune; I’ve heard it’s supposed to default to full all the time.

    I am wondering if something is wrong.
