I went for a short drive, and all seemed well.

Exhaust DPF and all sensors for it are still plugged in, so I am not out of the woods yet, but it seems the Autoenginuity was unnecessary for me.

The only concern so far is that the DEF gauge is reading half what it was before the tune; I’ve heard it’s supposed to default to full all the time.

I am wondering if something is wrong.
    That's very promising to hear.

I am glad it went smoothly so far.

My 22 defaults to full, and my 15 defaults to empty; whose tunes do you have?

    Rays tunes.

It shows the tank's actual level; I haven’t drained it yet.

Hopefully, it doesn’t show a low DEF light when I do.

    Do you have multiple tunes?

I’ve seen some tuners that use the DEF tank gauge for selecting your tunes.

Tune 1 would be 1/4 tank, tune 2 would be 1/2 tank, tune 3 would be 3/4 tank, etc.

So you could only have four tunes in total?

Thats a dumb way of doing it.

I got five shifts on fly thru cruise control on the steering wheel.

I believe it was also through the steering wheel, but I'm just using the DEF gauge as a reference.

I can’t remember if it was 4 or 5 tunes, but hell, I don’t think I ever used more than 2, owning my last truck for 12 years.

    I suppose if it was 5 tunes, tune 1 (empty), tune 2 (1/4), tune 3 (1/2), tune 4 (3/4), tune 5 (full)

After a few hiccups and a lack of free time, I finally got everything done, and I did not need the Autoenginuity tool.

If I didn't buy it and rolled the dice, I'm sure I would have needed it.
