Needing Some Tunes For My 2021 RAM Cummins!

Yo, I'm Nick, new here, just postin' something to say what's up?

I bought my truck brand new a few years back and got everything deleted, but It doesn't have any tunes on my MM3.

I guess the guy who installed it all for me is a dick and wanted to gatekeep how he did all this stuff, so I figured I might as well sign up on here and figure it out myself.

    So yeah, it's a 2021 2500 RAM Big Horn.

It has all the bells and whistles; it just needs to sound good.

5-inch straight pipe; I still have the EGR in there, so I don't know what to do about that, but I don't know.

I'm hoping to get some guidance on running my truck and sounding good.

Sounds alright but could be better

    I'm sure.

    Anyway, thanks for reading!

Let me know what you all think.

Welcome, and we are glad to have you here.

Do you want your truck to roll coal?

That’s “one” of the reasons why the three-letter government is cracking down on the diesel world.

I see in your profile that you are a hotshot.

Do you use this truck for your business or private use?

If you use it for business, you know you must keep all your emissions stuff intact, or DOT will never pass the inspections.

    Welcome!

Rolling coal draws unwanted attention; most seek reliability, longevity, and performance.

I only really do under-the-table stuff with this truck.

I get plenty of business with all the boats down here.

I want to get another truck or two before I go all professional.

But as far as a DOT inspection goes, as I said, I've never even had a reason to get one, but it may be a little different in Florida.

As I mentioned, the guy who did the original exhaust install for me kept everything about my tuner.

So I'd like to get a selection of tunes, like tow, Econ, 150hp, whatever.

I'm not well versed in all of it.

150hp tune, you'll need to upgrade other items in the truck or spend a lot of money rebuilding a motor and a transmission.

Due to our government friends, the statements about rolling coal have been removed.

    Thank you,

I understand what you are saying, friend, but it only takes one slight incident/accident, and DOT will get involved if you are getting paid to move boats and stuff.

Then you are looking at $$$$ in fines, etc.

As for 150HP or higher, you must upgrade head studs, fuel injectors, transmission, etc.

Don’t forget about the insurance side, either.

Should anything go wrong, your fault or not, you are open to a lawsuit.

Why do you need studs and injectors on only a 150 hp tune?
