Emission Codes Help - Tuned EFI Live?

Hi, I need some advice/help with my truck.

First, I will say I have had my truck for about a year and have put 5000K miles on it with no issues.

The truck was tuned with a 5" turbo back exhaust when I purchased it.

EFI live tuning has a four-position switch hooked to the OBDII port.

The truck did not come with the tuner, and I have no idea which tuner was used.

Two days ago, I had a cell come on, and \I read the codes.

It showed U010E lost communication with the reductant control module and the P2494 EGR cooler bypass valve (EBV) position circuit low.

These codes were shown as permanent codes and as confirmed codes.

It also showed fuel rail pressure low.

the fuel rail pressure code was permanent and not what was causing the CEL.

This was due to replacing fuel filters two months ago, and the rear spin on the filter was faulty, causing the system to lose its prime.

After replacing the filter and clearing the code, everything was fine.

However, it still had low fuel pressure stored as permanent with no CEL.

After the CEL light came on two days ago, I cleared the two emission codes and drove several miles, and the CEL came back on.

I dont understand how I am getting the two codes.

My EGR system is removed, as well as my def tank and module.

Would this be a tuning issue, and if so, would purchasing a new tune and reflashing clear the codes?

I have a camping trip in 2 weeks and hope to resolve it before leaving.

Edit: The truck is a 2016 RAM 3500 with a 68RFE and has 141000 miles on it.

The U010E code is normal on a deleted truck and is no problem.

The P2494 isn’t normal with DRD tuning but may be normal with other tuning.

I have attached the troubleshooting information for this code; see the possible causes.

If this code wasn’t tuned out, it could be because it’s disconnected (open).

Do you know if purchasing a new tune and reflashing would clear all codes, including permanent codes?

I've wanted to do that to know what tunes I'm running.

I considered a 45hp single tune from CCS tuning with Dirty Diesel Customs in Canada.

I don’t know what, if any, codes are left behind with other tuning.

With DRD, you will always have the U010E code, but it doesn’t cause any issues with the truck's performance.

Are you experiencing any performance issues?

If you are looking for new tunes, I would highly recommend DRD.

I'm not having any performance issues.

My concern is I have driven the truck for a year and around 5000k miles with no CEL, and all of a sudden, the CEL is on.

Previously, I showed no codes with the scan tool and had no CEL.

Sorry, I missed the part where you still have a check engine light.

The U010E code will not set a check engine light, but the P2494 will.

I would troubleshoot the EGR Coolant Bypass Sensor circuit as described in the previous attachment.

Even though this sensor is, I assume, disconnected and possibly tuned out.

The wiring is still attached to the PCM and could be grounded or shorted.

Also, check the EGR Coolant Sensor connector for moisture, corrosion, or possible wiring damage.
