    EFI Live To MM3 - 2021 RAM 2500?

    Hello all, new member here.

I'm glad I finally stumbled across this forum, as I've been dealing with issues with my 2021 RAM 2500 with 68RFE.

I've been running Optimal Tuning for two years now.

I haven't gotten him to adjust my transmission tuning for crap.

I get hard clunks when my torque converter unlocks going from 5th to 4th gear with my exhaust brake on.

I also deal with power shut-off under medium to hard throttle before shifts.

My transmission also shifts pretty early, even with a decent amount of throttle down.

After several years of settling, I am grateful to find this forum because he was the only tune I could get.

I signed up for the lifetime membership and am excited to get my truck running as it should finally.

I have a complete weight loss program, 5" black market performance intake, 4" exhaust, BD diesel valve body plate kit, deeper transmission pan, bypass cooler, 165GPH Titanium FASS lift pump, and I just purchased a 2nd Gen Swap from EvilFab S467.7/83/1.0 yesterday.

My factory turbo/actuator is going out on my truck with only 44k miles, so I decided to get rid of the VGT crap even though I'll miss my exhaust brake.

I will not let Optimal retune my truck after the 2nd Gen swap. I am currently using EFI Live but am open to switching to the correct platform to get the best tunes, and I've heard DRD is the way to go.

Any recommendation on what platform to use and which route to go on tunes?

Does DRD have the switch on the fly or just single tuning?

I want the best tunes to ensure I don't mess anything up on my truck, as it's my daily driver.

I don't race or dogg my truck often, but I do have a heavy foot sometimes, and I know without the proper tuning, the 2nd Gen swap can cause issues as I do not have head studs done yet.

Thanks in advance for any advice you guys can offer.

Most of us use DRD and have zero issues.

He is the best in the business and customer service.

I agree that DRD is the way to go.

He offers single or multiple HP custom tuning with 68RFE tuning.

The HP levels can switched on the fly from the MM3 or with a CSP5 switch.

I've *tried* to use OW before (among others).

Awful experience and my truck was undrivable.

I'm surprised you've made it this far.

Yes, the MM3 platform and DRD tunes have the switch on the fly.

The MM3 is somewhat of an all-in-one device.

You can program the truck, switch on the fly, read and clear codes, monitor PIDs, etc.

    I recommend DRD.

It will feel like your truck came with all those mods from the factory.

DRD is what I have, and I haven’t had any problems with quick and easy setup.
