Thread: Installing My New MM3?

  1. Top Of Page | #11

    Re: Installing My New MM3?

Currently, I am not doing the throttle valve delete.

Unless someone suggests otherwise, it should stay open, and if it closes, I’d think I’d know it pretty quickly.

    Thoughts or suggestions?

With DRD tuning, you don’t need to unplug anything topside.

    The tuner turns it off.

    Next question.

I got the weight loss going, but I have a question.

    Does this get unplugged?

Agree with @watersupply189 nothing needs to be unplugged in the engine compartment, unless you are removing EGR items.

The sensor in your photo is the MAP sensor, and that must remain plugged in.

    Re: Installing My New MM3?

I'm about to put a 19 on a diet and wondered if the MM3 can still be installed and tuned with the soot cookers already gone, but left everything up top intact besides the throttle blade.

Thanks for the advice in advance, guys!

I just wanted to ensure I didn't have to put it back on before doing so!

    Re: Installing My New MM3?

Do you know which unlock cable I need or if I even need one to install and tune with the MM3?

I can't find any info, and the mm3 only came with the 18 and older unlock cable, which does me no good on my 19.

Did you ever find out about this?

I have a 2019 and am getting ready to install the MM3, but I haven’t found any sound info on this.

Maybe I’ll looking in the wrong places?
