2016 RAM 2500 - Truck Won’t Accept Fuel At The Pump

I have a 2016 2500 RAM with an S&B fuel tank installed for five months.

Just recently, it would not let me add fuel.

Pop’s the pump after 2 gallons and acts like full, and certainly not.

I did this a couple of weeks ago, then let me fill it.

Well did it again now.

Ideas before I start pulling the fill neck and tank?

I was wondering if a plugged tank vent could cause this issue.

It may be worthwhile to check the vent before pulling the tank.

The stock fuel tank diagram is attached for reference.

I was thinking the same thing as AK Bob stated.

If you use the same terminal for fueling, it could be the pump nozzle itself is defective.

Pulled the fuel fill out.

The only thing I could find is that the vent tube hose clamp after the S&B tank install was too tight.

It’s rubber into rubber with n pressure.

I took fuel right after I put it back together.

It sounded as if it filled much quicker too.

Thanks for the update and for confirming it was a blocked vent line.
