RaceME Ultra - Unknown Software (ECM)

I got a used 2019 Cummins with about 43k miles about three months ago.

I have started changing things, such as suspension to fit tires, etc.

I'm getting ready for the weight reduction today, so I hook up the tuner and get the “unknown software (ECM).

I have put an email into RaceME Canada, but it’s after hours.

Anything else I should be doing while waiting on a response?

I also joined the forum today and apologize if this has been covered already.

    Thanks,
    Tim

Your truck has probably had the CP4 to CP3 recall performed.

You will need a recovery file from RaceME.

So I got the recovery file today from RaceME, put it on the tuner, and am at the point of "Write Recovery."

Does anyone know if I can do this now without deleting (just a recovery file)?

Will it stop the truck from running since I have a CP3 instead of a CP4?

Or should I wait until I am ready to wrench and pull the "extra items" off the truck?

I would wait until you are ready.

The recovery file will allow you to load your tunes.

Once the tuning is successfully loaded, you need to remove the exhaust.

The stock DPF will quickly load up with soot.
