    RAM Headlight Adjustment?

Hey guys, I changed headlight bulbs recently and wondered how much adjustment I needed to make to get them right.

I changed to LEDs while the truck was stock height and didn't adjust them when I put my 2.5-inch leveling kit and new tires on it.

I went back to halogen bulbs due to the LED flickering.

The LEDs had a widespread and didn't focus the light down the road, so I returned to halogen.

I have stock headlight housing and all.

    Thanks for any advice.

Scroll down to see how to aim your lights properly.

Adjustments may be different in the sense of directional knobs as to what's shown.

For the flickering issue, did you have the inline resisters with the lights, little can bus box?

I did not use any resister.

Only one was flickering, and the terminals on the bulb itself were corroded, so I figured that caused it.

    Thank you.

CanBUS is finicky when it comes to changing from halogen to LEDs.

You need to get resistors to trick the canBUS into thinking halogen bulbs are still in there due to LEDs drawing less power.

Also, on the LEDs, make sure the light diodes are clocked to the 9 and 3 o'clock position, or else your light will scatter everywhere.

If you have an Alpha scanner, you can change the computer settings to LED so you won't get flickering.

I am now back with halogen bulbs.

I adjusted them down yesterday and went for a drive early this morning.

I need to bring them down a little more, but they are working well so far.

    Thanks, guys
