    Drag Link Replacement?

My drag link bar on my '14 RAM 2500 has both sides of the joints going out and is getting some crazy wobble.

I bought an OEM drag link bar from the dealer, and the bar is fully retracted, and the steering wheel still can't be adequately adjusted to be straight.

Does anyone have any experience with aftermarket replacements?

I'm not sure why this one isn't fitting, and the steering wheel is adjusting correctly, other than perhaps because I have a lift on the truck.

    Any ideas?

    Your lift is the culprit.

    Get an aftermarket, adjustable bar.

2021 Ram 3500 DRW, H.O., bypass oil filtration, bypass coolant filtration, S&B CAI, 4:10’s
    2wd low loc kit.
Reacquired 2001 3500, 5.9 nv4500, dually cab and chassis, 5” straight pipe, edge juice w/attitude. Otherwise all stock…..for now.

And if the joints in the old bar were shot, check all other components for wear as well.

    I hate death wobble.

    Re: Drag Link Replacement?

The one that I pulled down looked like it was a Moog.

It had the turnbuckle style, and I could have sworn that I saw Moog etched into the link on the pitman side.

I'm about to be home and will take another look at it.

In a perfect world, I would like not to spend another $450 on a Synergy only because I just spent that much on the OEM bar that I cannot return now because it's been installed.

However, if I have to, then I have to.

    Synergy FTW.

    They make great stuff.

    Easy to install and adjust

    JMO.

I assume the Synergy bar also works with a lift?

    Any specific lift range?

This is the bar that I removed.

The link on the small side says Moog on the joint, but the long shaft doesn't specify a name.

Synergy has a solid reputation behind its products.

Replaceable tie rod ends as well, instead of replacing the whole track bar.

    Synergy is your best bet.

It sucks that you bought a stocker before you found it wouldn’t work.

Buy the Synergy and list the other one; somebody will buy it.

    This is your learning moment.

    I’ve had my share.
