DRD tuned, yes.
I don't think it killed the trans, but it could have.
He will be the one tuning the new trans just waiting to hear back on what info he needs and how much it costs.

Quick update for anyone that gets a trans from Randy's.
You can pay a rush fee of $800 to move it to the next build spot.
It moved me from 4 to 6 weeks out, 1-2 weeks out!
Also having DRD do a re-tune, so I will report back when she is all back together and tuned.
Fingers crossed, it's as amazing as Randy says it is.
13k is a LOT of money, so I have big expectations that she will be a beast when I get her back.
Side note, does anyone know if it is a horrible idea to drive it home after a quick 30-mile stop-and-go drive to try and get the relearn done?
I am trying to decide if I should get a hotel vs. doing a quick 30-mile light drive and then getting on the freeway (80 MHP speed limit) to take her back to Montana.
I was going to ask Randy, but I was unsure if anyone has personal experience.
I would go with Randy’s recommendation for sure.
Attached is the initial drive learn procedure from Revmax for example.
2014 RAM 3500 (Aisin) 3.73 4X4 Limited Crew Cab Long Bed DRW. Oil Bypass Filter, Fuel Filtration Kit, Cold Air Intake, City Diesel Actuator and 50 Gallon Aux Fuel Tank.
Follow what Randy says on the initial drive/relearn/quick learn etc., to a T so that it would be under warranty if something goes bad with it.
I just spoke with them today.
They have fewer requirements than Revmax.
They said you need to do 15-30 1st gear, 6th gear runs below 30%, then not tow or get into it for the first 500 miles.
Update for anyone following along.
The transmission was finished and installed this week.
I was picking it up Saturday since it is a 6-hour drive to their shop.
The total time from saying "yes" to installation was 8 business days since I paid the 800-dollar rush fee.
I was looking forward to breaking it in and reporting on how she does.
Thanks for the update.
Good turn around time.

I got the truck back today and doing the break-in procedure.
Not seeing the proper pressures when over 30% throttle (225 or higher), but Ray said that is fine, so we shall see how she’s running after a few more days of taking it easy.
I am feeling pretty defeated.
There is oil all under my truck and red fluid leaking from the front of the bell housing.
So far have followed the Revmax break-in guide and still have not pushed the truck.
I have an email in with Randy’s team, but I hope I don’t need to drive 6 hours to their shop again to fix it.
The trans oil level looks to be normal, so not sure if it was overfilled or WTF is going on.
I'm Getting close to cutting my losses and selling the truck to buy something new with a warranty.
Hoping I did not drop 13.5k for a crappy product and that it’s just a fluke.
I understand your frustration and disappointment.
Hopefully, it's something simple that can be quickly resolved.
Please keep us posted.
