My dad is considering trading his 2018 RAM 3500 SRW Cummins for a new 3500 Cummins HO dually.
Over the past few years, I have fallen out of the loop on these new trucks, so I don't have the knowledge of them I have on the Fourth Gen trucks.
So to get to the point, are the new trucks able to live up to the reputation of the Fourth Gen trucks?
I want to say the 19 and 20 models had some fuel pump issues with the CP4, but RAM returned to the CP3.
Is there any true advantage of the HO over just a regular 3500 with the 68RFE?
I also have heard rumors about RAM dropping some seemingly unexplained tow ratings.
I saw some videos on PD Diesel Power's page on some of his Fifth Gen truck's engines failing.
Any feedback with some vital info on the new trucks would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Dallas Mitchell
