I didn't purchase any replacement warranty.
It's the manufacturer's 55,000-mile warranty that accompanies the tire.
The tires wore past the wear point at 20,000 miles, so they were replaced with a discount of 25,000 miles, a bit more discount than half off each tire.

I went to Discount Tire, where I bought them initially, and two of the four tires were measured "bad" by their little handheld scanner.
There is only 20,000 mi on the tires, so they can replace those two tires for $371.
They're going to move the two "almost but not officially bad yet" tires to the front since there is no possible way that they will last for another 35,000 miles, and at some point here in the future, they will qualify for warranty replacement as well.
Absolute worst case, if my drivability is impacted by having two new in the back and two old in the front, I can always purchase two new tires for the front.
Not a terrible price for two new tires!
By the way, their handheld scanner measured that the tires were not evenly worn between the inside, middle, and outside, but they did not cause me any fuss that I did not properly maintain them.

I know swabs; you don't get a mileage warranty for their Mud Terrain tires.
Proper alignments, ball joints, tie rods, and bushings will optimize the life expectancy for your next set of tires.
I just threw $2400 " installed " without doing an alignment.
Thinking of getting one, but my tires wore perfectly as I did their recommended rotations, whatever miles they suggested.

I'm curious as to which Nittos you were running.
I run Cooper tires on my off-road rig and love them can't get away from the dependability Nitto has always given me on my tow rigs.
I tried the Wildpeaks for 3k miles on my dually and yanked them off as soon as I got home.
The sidewalls flexed too much for the weights I towed, and it wasn't fun.
I returned with the Ridge Grapple, and all was right in the world.
This time on my 2500, I went with the Recon Grapples only have about 100 miles on them, so the jury is still out, but they feel very stable, like the Ridge.
I'm not turning this into a fanboy thread; I'm a tire geek, so I'd love to hear what you didn't like about the Toyos and Nittos.
I almost did the Toyos; this time can't seem to get away from the Nittos.
I like them that much.
I have had both Nitto and Toyo’s.
They have great tires until the tread wears halfway down, then they get slick, like driving on wet leaves on the pavement.
That’s been my experience with them, and I went thru 3 sets over the years.
I love the Wildpeaks on my truck—excellent traction in snow.
I never had any issue towing with them, either.

Again, I'm not referring to the roadside/hazard warranty covering a blowout.
I'm referring specifically to the mileage warranty that comes with the tire from the manufacturer that the retailer has to honor.
I didn't pay anything extra for any additional sorts of coverage.
