Newby Here (2022 RAM Cummins) Regen Issues

Hey all.

New to the forum and thought I'd introduce myself.

I've had some Cummins trucks '06, '13, '18, and now a '22.

I have ongoing Regen issues with my '22 that the dealer can't fix, so I hope to learn about possible cures for this on this forum.

I LOVE this truck, but I don't like the constant Regens.

Interesting way to get access to a forum, but I bit, so I'm in.

Are you running the original air filter in the truck, or have you changed it yet?

These are very sensitive to air filters, and using the wrong one can cause excessive Regens; the only correct filters are Mopar 53034051AB or fleetguard AF27684.

Interesting. I do not believe the air filter has been changed, but that’s easy to try.

I heard a long time ago that the first thing to do when having a problem with a diesel is to change the air and fuel filters.
