Slight Play In Driveshaft?

So I have a bad u joint in my rear driveshaft at almost 200k, so I am replacing all 3.

It's a two-piece shaft.

I noticed that the slip joint has a little play in it, not much, but you can feel and hear it.

Is it worth worrying about? It's probably—010" of play.

Hopefully, someone will have a specification for the allowable wear on those splines.

Otherwise, you may have to go with your best judgment.
