Where Is This Noise Coming From?

It sounds like a bad U-joint to me.

As stated, I would get all the wheels off the ground on a lift or jack stands.

See if you can duplicate the sound and pinpoint the source.

Also, while off the ground, rotate the rear wheels by hand and check all the drive shaft U-joints again for slop or binding.

I still say it’s best to get it up on a lift.

It could be the suspension, diff component, axle, who knows.

Unless you’ve got access to a lift or a buddy to help you, it would be worth paying for an hour of diagnostic.

That's the first thing I thought.

AK Bob could be on to something there with a bad U-Joint.

I thought your truck was sitting still in the video since most of your video was focused on the car and not on the truck.

As stated, I would get that truck up on some jack stands and turn the wheels to pin point the problem.

Keep us updated what you find.

Edit: Just watched the video again and I can see your truck was moving.

It definitely sounds like a bad U-Joint or a brake caliper loose.

The rear ujoint off the drive shaft "pinion side" would be my guess.

Check the torque on the four bolts connecting the driveshaft to the pinion yoke.

    I believe its 85 ft/lbs.

    I agree with Corkey.

    Drive shaft Ujoint.

My next guess, and my original thought, would be brakes getting hung up.

Sorry everyone; I have been working like crazy and finally had time to hop on.

My buddy and I will check everything tomorrow when I’m done with work.

I will post if we find it.

    I hope we do haha.
