    I think that was the problem, loose brake pad hardware.

    I came to my storage unit where I keep my boat, and it guaranteed to happen every time and didn't make a sound.

    I may be heard a single little click, but that could have been from something else under the truck.

    Pretty sure the original ticking was resolved entirely with the brake pad hardware fix or greasing up the pins.

    So was I; only so many things underneath there can click.

    I found the information on another forum and wanted to share it here in case someone comes around with similar problems.

    Next step: every other sound from underneath the chassis.
