Where To Begin - 2003 Dodge RAM 2500 5.9L Cummins?

Hey everyone!

I just picked up a 2003 2500 with the 5.9L Cummins HO and auto transmission with 170,000 miles.

I've only owned the 6.7L Cummins before, so the 5.9L is new to me.

Transmission and Engine are completely stock (and original), except it has S&B intake and is leveled with 35's.

This will be my daily driver, and I will occasionally tow an 8K lb travel trailer.

I am not looking to go all out max HP or anything like that; I want a reliable truck set up correctly.

Where would you start first, and what HP goal would you have in mind?
