Yea, should do the job for a complete bypass.

I went with this one for the best of both since I am in a cold climate.

68RFE life saver in my mind.

I installed the ATS - paid $79 @ the 10K mile mark - my temps NEVER get over 165*F. - @ the time ATS was my only choice - now there are many brands out there to pick from.
Strangely prices are somewhat all over the place for just a simple delete block - yes the Mishimoto is a bit more complex.

One thing I have read about many 68RFE failing due to ATF overheating due to the OEM thermal by-pass (tiny spring valve) failing to close.
I have never heard of a 68RFE failing due to the ATF staying too cool.

"Not going to lie," this was the 1st modification I performed on my 2017.

68RFE/BW44-46/Power Steering: -Red Line- C+ ATF
Frontend & Rearend: -Red Line- SAE GL-5 75W-90NS

I also did this mod right after getting my truck.

    I bought the ATS, and i tow a heavy 20k 5th wheel.

The transmission runs cool, and I’ve had no issues.
