    Clicking From Front End?

I had bad u joints on the rear drive line.

I went with SKF for routine maintenance when I did my fluid changes.

I'm already down there, so I'll check if it needs a few pumps of grease or not.

I think it's a personal preference for the most part.

Someone that puts a lot of wear and tear on a rig may opt for a greaseable joint because they have a higher probability of breaking one sooner than someone that does the typical daily driving.

I know Moog and SKF have a reputation in those particular parts.

If you have a good number of miles and it just went out, I would stick to OEM and get another round of miles again.

I recall Toyota tech mentioning being mindful of how you install the u-joint, so the zerk fitting is accessible to purge when the time comes.

II 60HP STICKS, II 33% CP3, II S464 2ND GEN SWAP, FASS 165 TITANIUM SIGNATURE SERIES, AFE INTAKE HORN, S&B FILTER, 5" TURBO BACK, ALPHAREX HEAD LIGHTS, 38X13.5X20 RAZOR M/T, MOTO METAL RIMS, 6" LA LIFT KIT, COMPLET MM3 KIT, BUILT TRANSMISSION, 6 BOLT REDHEAD STEERING BOX

I have a decent number of miles, but unfortunately, I don't remember if I've replaced these ones.

I've only owned the truck for long enough to put maybe 50k miles on it, and I feel like I've replaced u-joints before, but I don't remember what

Are there any available replacement part numbers for these things?

I am trying to look them up beforehand, so I can have the part handy, and I am finding many different part numbers.

Does anyone who has used an aftermarket part like Moog or Spicer recall their part number?

I'm not in a financial position *at this moment* to get a Mopar replacement.

Go to the Moog or Spicer website and put the OEM part number in.

    It should cross reference.

That's what I thought, but it still shows me 6 different MOOG u-joints.

It looks like the Moog 291 for non-greaseable and 279 for greasable.

    Both are available on Amazon.

Thank you, I'm unsure how you can determine that when it showed me six different ones.

Nonetheless, hopefully, that will work, and I can go pick one up real quick and change it out tonight or tomorrow.

Well, the good news is that it was the u-joint.

The bad news is that the old u-joint was in there so well that I bent the mounting hole on the axle to where the retaining clip would not fit in place to hold the new u-joint in.

So I ended up spending $400 and just replaced the entire axle joint and stub shaft.
