Thread: MM3 Glitch?

  1. Top Of Page | #11

    Re: MM3 Glitch?

I plan to install my MM3 this weekend and have a 19.

This is not what I expected after spending the money on it.

    I got 50 miles til 5mph mode.

It seems like I’m going to be going from one problem to another.

    Think positive.

    Not everybody has the glitch.

2021 Ram 3500 DRW, H.O., bypass oil filtration, bypass coolant filtration, S&B CAI, 4:10’s
    2wd low loc kit.
Reacquired 2001 3500, 5.9 nv4500, dually cab and chassis, 5” straight pipe, edge juice w/attitude. Otherwise all stock…..for now.

Hopefully, you won’t be among the handful of people experiencing this glitch.

Apparently, the glitch only affects the MM3 monitor and doesn’t affect the way the truck runs.

On a separate matter, if you have had the CP4 to CP3 pump recall performed, you will likely need a recovery file to allow you to flash your tune.

2014 RAM 3500 (Aisin) 3.73 4X4 Limited Crew Cab Long Bed DRW. Oil Bypass Filter, Fuel Filtration Kit, Cold Air Intake, City Diesel Actuator and 50 Gallon Aux Fuel Tank.

I still am; it was just concerning once I read it was an issue with the 12” Uconnect.

If it does happen, I’ll be mindful of it.

The only reason I haven’t done this earlier is because I couldn’t find a trustworthy tune.

As far as the new CP3, I emailed MM3 last night.

Waiting on their response; thank you for the heads up about the possible glitch.

    Good plan.

Be aware, but don’t let other reported issues stop you from doing what needs to be done, and enjoy your truck.

It’s like the lottery with these trucks.

Some have more problems than others.

    Happy trails.

    I’m starting to notice.

I am being mindful to watch for it.

You’re welcome; I didn’t want you to be caught off guard on the weekend.

Hopefully, everything will go smoothly without any issues.

I think you will be very happy with the way your truck runs.

    Please keep us posted.

I’ve been itching to start this project.

    I will post updates.

I hope it doesn’t remind me of my Hellcat.

That’s where the real problem would start.
