P0381 Code - Wait To Start Light Inoperative?

I stopped at a convenience store today to grab a Gatorade and fill up on diesel, came back out, and went to start the truck, and it wouldn't turn over and said something about the service trailer brake system.

I looked at DTCs and showed P0381: wait to start light inoperative.

I pulled the key out and back in and said the same thing, but this time turned it over.

Drive home, and it had a check engine light all the way home (10 miles away).

It turned off; I tried to clear the code, wouldn't clear.

    I have a 2010 Dodge 2500 RAM Megacab 6.7L Cummins.

68RFE (just rebuilt 2k ago, HD torque converter, HD valve body, billet input, etc.)
    FASS 165
    Pusher intake horn
    Pusher grid heater
    Sinister cold air intake
    BD deep transmission oil pan

Attached is the troubleshooting information for P0381.

It looks like step #3 is the best place to start.

    Thank you.

What's interesting is; the "wait to start" light acts normal.

It'll turn off after a few seconds when the key is in the On position.
