68RFE Transmission Relearn With No Difference?

So I'm still considering myself a newbie, and I'm not sure what to do.

So the 2020 68RFE downshifts hard into 4 while cruising at low speed; depending on how hard you are on the throttle depends on how hard it slams into 4th from 5th only.

I don't have any codes, trans relearn didn't make any changes, and I have slow drive engagement from park to drive and reverse to drive for about 2 to 3 seconds.

The fluid does not smell burnt and has no signs of slipping.

Have you tried a transmission fluid and filter change to see if that helps?

Hopefully, others more knowledgeable about the 68RFE will have other suggestions.

    How’s the 1-2 up shift?

    Is it hard at times?

1-2 upshift is smooth at low speeds.

She shifts up fine and downshifts fine when she shifts down from 5-4, like slowing down around 40 mph, it b in 5 and then hits 4 if slow enough while accelerating and hits hard; the hard hit depends on how much throttle you're giving it.

And other than the delay drive engagement, whether cold or hot, it's in reverse.

It's right there to select D.

It takes 3 seconds to grab.

Not yet I have ordered both filters.

The old man has a Snap-on scanner getting the ram update for the scanner so I can do the relearn.

I’m guessing it b more as a quick relearn with that.

I know there’s some computer up day for my RAM, but I haven’t taken it in yet to get recalls done, and not sure if I need to load stock tuning back on before I take it in.

LOL, a bad thing no warranty cus of the diet plan.

Thanks for the information as well as everyone else trying to help out

When you hook the scanner up to it, please take a picture of the CVI data before and after the quick learn and post it.

That will tell if there are any clutch issues.

    Thank you.

Will it be labeled CVI on the scanner?

I’m not too tech-savvy, but I’m sure I can figure it out if I know what I’m looking for.

I may Google it to get a better understanding of wut data to look at.

It should be labeled CVI, or clutch volume index.

Can anyone or someone point me in the direction of reading CVI data I have before and after a transmission relearn?

    Thanks.
