    Help! Selected Ride Height?

    Good morning.

I went out of town for a couple of weeks to come home and noticed that the rear suspension was completely deflated.

Usually, I can start the truck, and the bags will inflate and level themselves out.

However, this morning the battery was completely dead.

I jumped the truck expecting the bags to inflate as they usually do, but I got a message that stated, “selected ride hike not permitted.”

Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated!

    It is a 2014 RAM 2500.

I would recommend first disconnecting both batteries and fully charging them.

Once they are both charged, hook them back up and clear any trouble codes.

Check for self-leveling and then load-test the batteries.

Just to keep everyone in the loop I was PM’D by the OP and the air ride system is now working.

“Disconnected and reconnected both batteries. Checked fuses and connections.

Used hi-lift jack go take pressure off king shocks.

When I cranked the truck I heard them refill.

I think because it was bottomed out in combination with the battery dying caused it.

    Hopefully good now.

    Thanks for the help!”
