    68RFE To NV5600/G56 Clutch Master?

In my hunt for a 2010-18 Manual swap, I have only found 3rd gens with pedal, hydros, etc.

I have been researching for hours but am still unsure about clutch master compatibility.

Can I use the master cylinder from a 3rd gen truck without fabricating a new mount on the firewall?

Will the 3rd Gen pedal work?

Since I am used to driving CDl trucks( Eaton 8LL, 10 spd, 7, 6, etc.)

I think I will be fine with NV, which seems easier to find now.

I appreciate it if anyone familiar with swap or firewall differences can help.

You will be fine with the NV however they are less refined.

If you want something that is going to feel nicer when you shift the G56 is the way to go if your used to eatons the NV will feel like it belongs in a cadillac.

3rd Gen pedal will work according to my research thus far you would be surprised how little has changed on these trucks over the years.

If your on a 4th gen you'll need to make sure you get the speed sensor wired in.

My understanding is that most tuners can get this to work now.

Thanks, that gives me the confidence to source swap parts from a 3rd Gen NV5600 truck.

I remember years back when I was doing my double disc clutch and billet input on my 12 valves, there was a lot of hate on the G56 with pullers, and they liked the NV5600 after mods to the rear bearing, etc.

My south bend has held up great for years under some strict tests of soft work sites pulling loaded trailers.

I want my 4th Gen to hold up the same.

I will chat with Southbend about hydros on a swap this week too, and see what they say.

So Southbend says the hydros from 94-18 are all the same M/C and slave.

RaceMe Canada will send me a manual file, so I am good there too.
