    RAM Cummins Cold Weather Battery?

I was wondering what you're using for batteries, mainly in the north in cold weather.

I've been using the odyssey ODP-AGM94R H7 L4, and it's given me headaches.

    There's a chance i have a lemon, but I haven't had them tested yet.

The factory batteries never gave me issues, and i now regret spending that much money on batteries that don't seem to perform well in the cold.

I did see some people using cat group 31, but I can't find if they fit in a 4th Gen; it does look like you'd at least have to install longer cables.

I would have them tested and see if they are covered under warranty.

See the link below for my recent experience with AGM batteries in Alaska.

Mine is a 2017 & still running OEM batteries.

Thanks to my Noco Battery G750 battery (Smart) tender w/quick connects.

When their life expires, I (myself) will look into the AGM batteries.

(Sams Club seems to have the lowest price) in my area.

It's parked in the garage during winter, and she spends most of her time hooked up to the Noco.

I only got 4 yrs out of my original batteries.

I replaced them with Interstate batteries.

I keep them on a battery tender as I may not drive my truck for a month, maybe two, but I have been happy with them.

I've had good luck with Diehard Platinums; I live in Northern WI and do a lot of hauling and work across the northern states, so cold is all I do all winter.

I used Die Hard Platinums for one year and struggled in very cold weather (below 0 F) with radio/HVAC issues.

I have switched to Odyssey batteries from FCP Euro and have had much better success with them.

Bonus is that I will never have to pay for batteries again, since FCP Euro has a lifetime warranty on all parts sold by them.
