    Re: RAM Clearance/Cab/Marker Lights?

Can anyone tell me what the orange and brown wire goes to?

This is connected to the light selector on the driver's side.

It looks like he spliced in the wires here.

This is the only place I could trace it back to.

My finger is on the green wire from the headliner.

I thought I’d drop the damage here as well. Here is a pic of the entire headliner and wiring.

I checked all fuses, and this green wire has continuity to where it’s spliced.

No idea why it doesn’t work. It worked when I bought the truck.

Also, I scrubbed and wiped down the ground, but no dice.

Remove that connector splice, wire the two ends together, and shrink-wrap the connection.

That connector causes nothing but issues.

    Problem fixed.

The entirety of this problem was the integrity of the splice.

That blue connector had a bunch of corrosion that was preventing continuity.

Thank you for all the help!

Flip the entire harness around, run the green wire down, and pass side a pillar.

You have a sizeable gray connector; it's power for your cab lamps. I did install the factory cab lamp kit on mine.

Scotch locks, hate them; they always fail, even if inside.

    I'm glad it's fixed.

I added my factory cab lamps, just like the looks.

Like the amber glow on the hood after dark.
