    Tire Won't Freely Spin?

I heard some sounds the other day when I was driving, and they were a bit worse when I was turning the wheel and either direction and sounded like they were metallic sounds, but it was consistent with my speed.

I took the tire off the side I was hearing it from and noticed that the offending side was not spinning freely with both front tires off the ground. Video attached.

Does anyone have any idea about what is going on here?

I shouldn't have a problem replacing any suspension or steering parts, but I'm just not 100% sure what might be the cause, and I would rather know before I start pulling everything apart.

Have you checked the wheel hub bearing?

While it’s jacked up, wiggle the tire up and down/ side to side to see if there is any play.

If there is, your going to need to replace the wheel hub.

    How are the brake pads?

Maybe a caliper sticking, causing it not to spin freely?

Probably your axle u-joints behind your wheel bearings.

    I had a clicking noise.

Very obvious once I have seen it.

I'd suspect the wheel hub bearing as well.

There are many creaking sounds from the front, and I had an alignment done today.

They said that everything seemed to check out except for the drag link.

I replaced the drag link, and many suspicious clicking sounds disappeared.

I still want to look over all the components underneath to see if I can find any creakings, but the odd clicking sounds were almost entirely resolved when I replaced the drag link.
