    MM3 and/or Edge CTs3

I'm about to pull the trigger on Ray's tunes (the everything file) and the MM3.

I'm currently using Edge CTS3 for monitoring, EGT probe, and backup camera.

Can I load Rays Tunes with the MM3 and monitor with CTS3?

Does the MM3 have to remain connected to the OBDII port?

If it does, can I run both, maybe switch between them on the fly, as I need?

I'm just trying to think of issues I may run into, as I like the CTS3 monitor.

I hate to think I wasted money on the CTS3 and have to do away with it due to conflicting protocol/issues.

I just thought of something else, if I need to get rid of CTS3, will the edge EGT probe work with the MM3?

    The truck is a 2007 6.7L Cummins.

I'm sorry for all the questions; just trying to figure out how to make this work

I don’t believe the edge EGT probe is compatible with the MM3.

In general, the MM3 doesn’t like to share the OBD port with a splitter.

The MM3 doesn’t need to be connected to the OBD port after the tunes are loaded so you could plug in your edge and monitor; however, with the MM3 disconnected, you will default to the lowest HP tune until it’s reconnected.

Now I'm wondering if I downloaded the files from MM3, could I choose them with a 5-position switch and monitor with Edge?

This is getting complicated; maybe I'll have to bag the Edge

Sharing the switch on a splitter with the Edge may be a solution.

I would check with Ray first; please keep us posted.
