When I had some warranty work down at a dealership, I talked to the service advisor about some alignment issues.
One of the weird things I was told is when these trucks are towing, and they go out of alignment.
Has anyone heard of this?
It dont seem right that a 3500 DRW designed to tow heavy would go out of alignment.

I don’t believe towing will cause the alignment to change.
However, when towing is heavy, the weight distribution changes and abnormal forces are introduced.
I have noticed that it can cause some outside front tire wear.

The service advisor said the whole alignment going out when towing is not right.
I have lost faith in any dealer service dept.
The only reason I have ever used them is the warranty.

Never trust what a service advisor says; in my experience, they are nothing but a parking lot valet.
