    48RE Trans Part Bundle - 2010 RAM 2500

I’m a super noob to the forum & would like to know if there is a part bundle for the 48RE to fix the OD & other issues the tranny is known for.

    I have a 2010 RAM 2500 6.7L.

Mine is in perfect working order & I would like to replace & fix it before it leaves me on the side of the road.

I will be pulling a 15k fifth wheel all over the country.

Live I SW Missouri if there’s a reputable shop to do the work.

Is there a link to any threads talking about this would be appreciated!

Did someone do a 48RE swap on your truck?

That truck would have come with a 68RFE.

Really with either trans, there's no easy, quick fix; there’s a combination of fixes throughout the transmission that makes it reliable.

Best to rebuild the whole transmission.

I don't know how far walnut grove is from you, but DNJ Components is a good transmission shop.

If you are on Facebook, I’d recommend sending Joe Prather, owner of performance transmission parts (PTP), a message so he can put together a parts kit with all the fixes/upgrades.
